This is going to be a short post. My schedule is pretty much full for the coming week or two so I might not be posting regularly. Usually I post on Monday and maybe a second time during the week. I will try thought if I manage to find a peaceful hour for my writing. Anyways, to the topic.
I decided to treat myself as I received my first salary in my new job. BeautyBay had a massive Midsummer sale which of course I took advantage of.
I knew I wanted a Stila product and an eyeshadow palette. I ended up choosing the Stila Eyes Are The Window Shadow Palette in Spirit. It contains a bunch of versatile shadows which all complement each other. You can create a look for everyday or for the evening. I think it’s a good first product for me from the brand. The first thing though I added to my shopping cart was the ZOEVA Nude Spectrum Blush Palette. I have been eyeing this on the BeautyBay website for months because I have been needing something simple and… nude. It contains 4 nude blushes that might work for my fair skin tone. Along with the ZOEVA palette I bought two Morphe brushes, R2 and R13. The R2 brush is a tapered powder brush that is great for powder, bronzer and blush application, so it does it all. And R13 is a pointed contour brush. These Morphe brushes look stunning! As soon as I got my hands on the brushes I had to swipe them across my face to feel the softness. You do that too?
Makeup Geek products were also on sale. I already own MUG eyeshadows and they are awesome in quality and in price. So, this time I wanted to see if their lipsticks are as good as their eyeshadows. Plush Lip Matte in Tomboy made it to my girl-gang. Tomboy is a muted berry with purple undertones, which I don’t have in my collection. Looking forward to use it.
All of the packagings already look amazing. I will review all of these when I have played with them a fair time.
Thank you for reading! What have you bought recently?
