My new crush, Nude Spectrum Blush Palette from Zoeva has been really loved and in hard use lately. I hauled this from Beauty Bay a month ago because I have been really into the hole nude and natural trend. I have never been a blush-girl so this felt like an easy go.
Before I ordered this I read the reviews on Beauty Bay about the product. Great reviews and in a few some had said that they have pale to fair skin and were able to use the palette for contouring, for bronzing and for blush. So I had high hopes for this since I was so sceptical about the darkest shade if it would work on my fair skin.
This palette includes 4 powder blushes and the texture of the shadows is buttery and smooth, they blend easily and are very pigmented. There is not much kickback when you dip your brush to the pan. Since the colors are nude they give that beautiful inner flush to the cheeks. They have this natural finish and look beautiful on the skins surface.
- ND010 – A light peachy beige with a subtle shimmer
- ND020 – A mocha-toned nude with a shimmer finish
- ND030 – A bronze/copper with chocolate and beige undertones and a subtle shimmer finish
- ND040 – A matte dark peach nude
My favourite ones are the mocha nude (ND020) and matte dark peach nude (ND040). The mocha nude actually works for me as a light bronzer shade. It has a sheen finish and looks good even without foundation. The ND040 looks so good! I don’t know if I have more words for it since I love it so much. It just makes my skin look even better, I swear. It is kinda muted (which I looove) so it works on many skin tones.
To the other two shades. ND010 is a basic peachy-beige-nude shade that works with almost everything. I have a similar blush, the Makeup Geek Blush Pan in Romance. It also has that sheen finish and gold shimmers in it. It’s a good standard blush to have in a palette. The ND030, since I am so fair I need to apply this bronze shade carefully. This is the most pigmented one in the hole bunch. That swatch was made with one swipe! Amazing right? A very, very light hand is needed with this one if you are the same skin tone as I am. It looks beautiful on the skin either way because all of these shades blend so easily. Though, the bronze shade is way darker when comparing with the other more subtle blush colors. I can’t use this on my face when winter comes as my paleness levels up to high extremes, but it will work as a gorgeous eyeshadow.
The packaging is so beautiful; a matte black, almost velvety feeling, quite a sturdy cardboard palette. The line that goes through the palettes name is holographic. From the inside it has this metallic look, simple looking. Maybe a mirror could of been a great bonus. The palette is just the perfect size and convenient for travelling.
I have just added a lipgloss to go along with a nude blush. I have gotten compliments for my radiant and healthy looking skin. Zoeva has amazing quality products for an even amazing price. I can say that this palette has become one of my staples in my makeup collection. I would like to try out the Zoeva highlighting palette next because I am interested in how that performs.
