From up going down: NYX Matte Lipstick in Sierra, YSL Gloss Volupté in 204 Corail Trapèze, Clinique Chubby Stick Baby Tint in 01 Poppin’ Poppy

NYX Matte Lipstick in Sierra. A dark orange (with a pink base) colored lipstick that just glides when applied. This Lipstick is extremely pigmented and even if it’s matte it’s super creamy and moisturizing. I mean, look at the swatch! It lasts through a cup of tea and a meal. I highly recommend this if you have dry lips but want a matte finished lipstick. I need to try out more shades.

Yves Saint Laurent Gloss Volupté in 204 Corail Trapèze. This lip gloss is my newest favourite! I never thought that I would dare to wear or even buy a lip gloss because I have never liked them. Well, I bought this over a week ago and I’m in love. I had this urge to buy a gloss and I ended up choosing this high-end product that was also gladly on sale. The scent is absolutely heavenly, so sweet and PEACH! Gloss Volupté is also very pigmented for a lip gloss, it’s also moisturizing and feels lightweight on the lips. This isn’t one of those tacky, icky feeling lip glosses. The quality is overall amazing.

Clinique Chubby Stick Baby Tint in 01 Poppin’ Poppy. This is perfect if you just want a lip balm with some tint. It’s sheer but still gives you a natural look and feel on the lips. Poppin’ Poppy gives you a beautiful sheer coral tint. I have worn this for even 10 hours straight and it still has looked great without fading. Chubby Stick is super easy to apply because you don’t need a mirror for this, perfect for an always in a hurry-girl.

Do you own any orange, coral or peachy lip products? Let me know so I might check them out.

My Sunday Beauty Routine

dav

Sunday is the day of relaxation and preparing yourself for the start of the next week, at least for me.

My Sundays beauty routine focuses more to the evening and concentrates on masks in particular.

So my Sundays morning beauty routine is actually pretty simple. I don’t wash my face in fact. I have pretty sensitive skin so I just leave my skin to be, calm itself down and suck all the rich serums and creams from the evening before. It sounds gross but my skin likes this once a week brake.

As the evening approaching I start with my hair. Two hours before showering I lather my hair in Pure Organic Coconut Oil (any organic coconut oil will do). My hair is pretty dry and naturally wavy but also thin. That’s why I do this only once a week.

In the shower I scrub all the dead skin from my body with the Flow Cosmetics Coconut & Lemon Himalayan Salt Scrub. I tell you, the scent of this is so divine. It’s like a very lemony, rich cheesecake scent, oh my. The Himalayan salt helps remove toxins out of the body and the coconut oil moisturizes the skin so well that you don’t actually need to put body lotion afterwards. This is a huge plus because I am very lazy when it comes to moisturizing my hole body.

For the face I use Flow Cosmetics Lingonberry Enzymatic Peeling Powder Mask when I want a gentle exfoliation. The Enzymatic mask is a powder that you just combine with water and mix into a paste. I add rose hip oil into it when I want a more moisturizing effect. By doing that it is a moisturizing mask and an exfoliator all at once. And when I want a more effective exfoliation I use the Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream Rinse-Off Formula. The consistency of the Clinique exfoliator is grainy and creamy. It also has coconut oil so it’s slightly moisturizing too. I love both of these products and I go with either one depending on my skins condition.

Since the enzymatic mask already has kaolin in it there’s no need to use the next product sent from the beauty gods afterwards.

So after the Clinique exfoliator I usually follow up with the Flow Cosmetics Cloudberry-Mint Facial Mask Powder, which has green and rhassoul clay in it. This is also a powder that you just mix with some water in a cup and it turns into a paste. The Cloudberry-Mint Mask sucks up the sebum really good and keeps pimples at bay. If I have ever felt too lazy to put this face mask on, I notice a drastic change on my skin and it’s not a good one.

Whether I’m feeling dry I use my beloved Korres Wild Rose Instant Brightening Mask. I am so happy to have discovered this mask! It’s soothing, moisturizing and brightening. This mask is great to use when skin is irritated. The rose oil calms down the redness and it makes your skin feel super soft.

After the cleanse I just follow up with my usual skin care routine. I will do a more specific skin care routine after I have found the products that really work for my skin and that I really do love.
